I’ve been busy in 2018! I don’t have much time for planning grocery lists, shopping, meal planning… you know the drill. I like short, simple recipes with basic ingredients I usually already have on hand.
Here are the recipes I tried and LOVED from Pinterest. They’re “Hubby Approved” too! Follow me on Pinterest for more great recipe ideas!
Our first waffle maker is a $10 mini waffle iron from the Christmas gift section of Hyvee. I make these waffles every week! They can be frozen as well (my own homemade Eggo!). They don’t usually last that long though.
This is my favorite! The secret is freezing the banana first. It makes it extra thick and creamy like a Frosty!
I’m picky about my crepes. I scrolled through so many different recipes, tried a few, and finally landed on this one.
My husband really likes bell peppers, so I gave this one a shot. It was surprisingly good!
This was a lifesaver for me! After I got pregnant, the infamous nausea usually hit first thing in the morning. Crackers and bread were the only things my stomach could handle. Freezing a lot of biscuits saved me time. I would pull out a couple and baked them fresh every morning in my toaster oven. I’m a genius! This recipe freezes well and bakes soft, flakey, and super tasty.
This is the best thing I’ve ever done! You HAVE to try this! Seriously, the whole shell just slides right off like a… nevermind.
I’m obsessed with gravy. Everything tastes better with gravy! I don’t always have the ingredients for a fancy one. In a pinch, this gravy was easy to whip up and super good. I used it in egg burritos with sausage and hashbrowns. Hubby approved!
With a little bit of flour, a good lump of peanut butter, and few extra chocolate chips on top, it’s just as filling and nutritious as a peanut butter and jelly sandwich 😉 Which one would you rather have?
You haven’t lived life until you’ve drowned your sorrows in a dose of this bowl of pure heaven.
After you roast the strawberries, puree them in a blender to make the most AMAZING strawberry sauce EVER!
This was grandma’s favorite dessert to make for us. Cherry pie filling is my second favorite dessert, next to chocolate. You can also substitute the cherry pie filling for any other pie filling you like.
Getting my Hubby to eat veggies is hard enough. But he LOVED this stuff! I’m definitely making this more often.
Let me know if you’ve tried any of these and how it went! What are your favorite go-to recipes?
