Ryna (pronounced “rin-a”. Not her real name), a smalltown housewife in the back of the desert, has mastered everything DIY to run a simple but productive “backyard chicken farm.” I’ve spent many hours relaxing in her mini haven, learning about life and love according to chickens. We’re compiling that amazing experience on video so you can see it for yourself! It’s not much yet, hence the clever name “Ryna’s Chicken Scratch”!
The emperor of the land, Shahiin (Shu-heen), leads the charge every morning out of the coops. Ryna’s husband, Ken, helps serve his Majesty and his queens gourmet breakfast. Throughout the day, Ryna babysits the “little fluff-balls” (chicks), watches the flock, builds new DIY projects, and manages the rest of her pets.
She also has a dog, two cats, and several fish tanks. Her neighbors sometimes let her babysit for their sheep, goats, horses, or donkeys for them.
I have the privilege of editing her videos for her channel. It’s been so fun!
